Jupiter is such a COOL wolfdog. She's very animated, interactive, and interested in people. She is somewhat shy of new folks and being handled, and talks tough at first...but as soon as she warms to you, she is playful and loving and fun.

Jupie sits for food, treats, and to be leashed; she really enjoys toys and stuffies, and playing in the water (she always has a big pool to wade in but be warned, she chews them up--even heavy stock tanks). She'd be a great hiking buddy for an active person, as she *loves* her walks and has lots of energy.
She plays nicely with male dogs (I've yet to find one she didn't like) although she is definitely queen of the roost. Like most wolfdogs, she shows prey drive towards cats.
I've never seen her mess with the fencing, so a standard 6' sturdy fence (chainlink, wood) with some dig proofing would be enough for her. She does need a clip on the gate latch, or a double latch, though--she is extremely smart and would be the one to figure out how to open a gate. (!)

Jupie could be an only dog if someone spent a LOT of time with her; otherwise, she would need a buddy. She is friends with Merlin, and he loves her, though she does push him around over food and punish him for fence-fighting. She is currently penned with Journey, and they get along extremely well--and she is calmer with him. If you have a friendly male dog, I think she would also take to him fine. She is female-dominant, though, and should not live with other girls.

We couldn't track down Jupie's birthday, but she is approximately 6-7 years old and has been spayed. She is located in north-central NC...if you're interested in a great new wolfdog, c'mon by and get to know her! Transport can also be arranged within the NC/SC/VA/TN area. A home visit and fence check (to ensure she doesn't escape) are required.
